Accounting I & II

Students will be introduced to manual accounting and computerized accounting processes. Students will learn the nine steps of the accounting cycle, cash control and banking activities, and payroll processes. Accounting II students will learn tax accounting, special journals, ten column worksheets, corporate accounting, collections, inventory, and liquidation processes.

This course has the option of Tech Prep Credit or college credit if 2 years are taken and a B average maintained when aligned with an area community college.
