The SGP Robotics team is in full swing. We've been busy building our robot for participation in the Vex competition coming in March 2010. Soon we will be in the build season for our participation in the FIRST Robotics competition Dallas Regional, also in March 2010 and the Houston Regional in April 2010. Earlier this year the team participated in the Dallas Regional and Houston Regional, winning the competition at Houston. We also qualified and traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to participate in the World Championship. We are working hard and geared up for another successful season. Thank you to all for your continued support.

Today in GPISD!
The SGP Robotics Team received a $3,000 contribution on Tuesday from ITT Technical Institute. They will use this money to help build their robot to compete in the two FIRST Robotics Competitions this spring. The competitions are international. Last year the team scored 3rd in the regional competition of FIRST Robotics in Katy, Texas and they plan to take first place this year. The two events entered will be at SMU in Dallas and in Houston. Go Warrior Robotics!!
