| TAKS Flex Days February 17-19 and March 8-12 - Tuesday, February 09, 2010All GPISD secondary schools will have 3 TAKS Flex Days next week, February 17-19, and 5 days March 8-12.These eight days are set aside to give secondary students every opportunity to maximize their learning by working with teachers in small groups and by experienceing very focused instruction.
Students are not required to attend the designated TAKS Flex (waiver) Days if they passed all of their TAKS Tests taken the previous school year.
Students will be notified by their counselor whether they have or have not met the requirements for attending school on the TAKS Flex (waiver) Days.
Parents should also be watching for notification. |
