Matt Dozier Baseball Benefit

Benefit Baseball Tournament  - Hosted by South Grand Prairie
Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15
Location - Warrior and Gopher baseball fields

In 2002, former South Grand Prairie HS center fielder Matt Dozier was paralyzed in an accident. Every fall since, SGP has held a benefit tournament with all of the proceeds going to Matt and his family. All workers including umpires, concession, and field maintenance have volunteered their time and efforts to make this happen.

Your help is needed.  Volunteer Now!

Groups are welcome - NHS, Student Council, ROTC, Cheerleaders, etc.  This would count towards your group's community service hours.

The PTSA meeting Tuesday night October 20 at 7:00 pm will be held in the SGP 9th grade cafeteria. 
The program will be a workshop entitled Warning Signs of Drugs.

Tune in to "Chevy's Inside High School Football show" on NBC5 Saturday at noon and see Ryan Rodriguez from SGPH Warrior football team, who will be featured on this week's show for the "Sonic Scholar Athlete of the Week". Congratulations to Ryan and everyone that has supported him.
